EDIT after response from the school: yes, I did come to the school , I bought 4 classes as a package, I attended only 2, I never requested to return the money for 2 remaining classes. Yes, you did put me to intermediate level, even though I told you I'm a total beginner, so, please don't change facts (it has a name). As a customer I have the right to express how I feel after the service which I received (in this case dance classes) . It was what it was. I don't care how many years of experience you have, I have learned nothing, but for a while I was even disappointed with myself that I couldn't learn from you. Now , when I started dancing another style, I know I was not the case. I still have a passion for flamenco, however I didn't get it at your classes. ______ Sorry, I´ adding putting the first negative review, but maybe the teacher/owner will take her lesson from it. I stated from the beginning that I had zero experience in any dance style. I was very enthusiastic about trying flamenco. She put me into intermediate level with others who knew what they were doing. The space for dancing at this studio is very limited , I couldn´t see myself properly in the mirror as there was a big column in front of me. The teacher did not approach me even once during the class to correct my movements, my posture, no explanation about the moves, either. At the end of the class she said ¨you did well´´. No , I didn´t. And my face was telling that. I did not enjoy that time of my classes at all. Not everyone who is a dancer can be a dance teacher at the same time. I learned more from free youtube classes than with this particular teacher (sorry, I don´t remember her name).
My first experience as a flamenco dance student with Sole was wonderful. We took a course with La Lupi, where we were able to integrate what we'd learned with live singing and guitar. The second time, I went to an intensive course with Sole and I was amazed. Not only by my classmates, but by her way of teaching. In addition to teaching flamenco technique, she makes you enjoy dancing and feel passionate about what you do. This allows you to gradually discover your own personal and unique style. I will definitely have incredible memories 🤗.
